Potential and option basics
- Appraised equipment can use cubes or scrolls to change potential abilities.
- Available options and values differ by equipment piece.
- Some cube types can raise potential grade at a low probability.
Access and costs
- Open Change Options from Bag > Equipment > Forge or Main Menu > Forge > Change Options.
- Changing options consumes Mesos and the selected Cube.
- Potential Scrolls can replace previous options, so the current state must be checked before use.
Manual change process
- Select equipment whose potential has already been appraised.
- Select a compatible Cube and review the change interface.
- Locked equipment cannot have its options changed.
Cube and automatic-change limits
- Occult Cubes cannot be used when potential is Unique rank or higher.
- Unique and Legendary Potential Scrolls follow equipment-rank and current-potential requirements.
- Automatic change can repeatedly use owned cubes until the selected rank or option condition is reached.
