Usage restriction

  • Characters holding Lachelein Coins or Arcana Coins can no longer use Unstable Arcane Symbols.
  • The restriction closes a path that could combine symbols from different characters instead of performing the intended transfer.

Affected-character processing

  • The larger of the existing symbol amount and transferred unstable-symbol amount is retained; the other amount is deducted or returned according to its source.
  • Eligible Express Pass and Arcane Catalyst NESO spending is refunded based on the adjustment applied.
  • Processed symbols are distributed through Maple Storage for the specific character, their levels reset, and prior symbol level-up NESO is refunded.

Compensation

  • Accounts created before the maintenance can claim up to 50 Arcane Symbol Selectors once per account through the Maple Administrator.
  • Claims require a level 200 or higher character and remain available through July 30 at 23:59 UTC.
  • Arcane Symbol: Esfera is excluded from the selector.
