With the Specters guarding the city and the Guardians of Heliseum holding the castle, Magnus locked himself in the throne room and began attempting to claim the power of the Outrigger, a holy relic given to his people by the 古代の神々 ノヴァの。 For decades, Magnus tried and failed to claim the divine power within the Outrigger, though the relic continued to resist him, Meanwhile, the Nova - thanks to Kaiser's sacrifice - had been able to transfer a portion of the Outrigger's power into four sacred stones, which were used to create a Protective Shield around Pantheon, preventing Magnus and his army from entering. Magnus immediately took the bait and sent all his forces to Pantheon, where the entire Specter army was vaporized when the shield came back up. Following the battle, Magnus personally came to the Pantheon border and encountered Kaiser, Angelic Buster, and their friend, ヴェルデロス。 Magnus laughed disdainfully and noted that Kaiser was quite weak compared to his predecessor, adding that even the Nova themselves had grown weak over the years. Suddenly, a large, mysterious vortex appeared and sucked in both Magnus and the Outrigger, causing them to disappear from the throne room, leaving behind only the cursed Kaiserium, which was reclaimed and later uncorrupted by Kaiser.
